Ring Sizing

The items produced here are made from welded titanium metal and there is no practical way to resize these rings. A new ring would have to be made and this would cause delays. It is therefore important to get the size right before shipping. Rings can be exchanged if they are returned in unworn condition.

Sizing
I've recently introduced free ring sizing bands for Australian customers, I just need an email of your physical address to send it to. Outside of Australia it may be more economical to find a local supplier. Please look at my sizer listing in the shop for more info.

I use a ring mandrel to size all completed pieces and provide a guide of what an approximate fit is. Many of my rings have wide ring shanks so I will contact you to confirm your finger size and discuss the appropriate size that your piece will be made.

Rings

I'll give mandrel size and approximate best fit (from the jeweller sizing loops) size which is usually around 1/2 US size smaller than the ring size from the mandrel.

Sizing is affected by:

  • daily fluctuations of finger swelling, which can be up to half a US size or more

  • level of hydration

  • knuckle size versus finger area

  • length of finger between knuckle and palm

  • sudden weight changes

  • heat or cold

  • ring shank band width and thickness

If you find that you are having trouble with your ring sizing, then don't hesitate to contact me to provide some advice to help make sure your ring is just right!

The Official Ring Size Conversion Chart

Ring sizing is a guide only - and this chart shows size conversion across some of the different ring sizes across countries. I work most often in Australian, UK and US sizes but can work with any equivalent size from your country.
